I'm actualy looking into the idea of a quarterly using the publisher of my book.
To keep it more low key, look at www.shotomag.com for a very nice internet based mag on Shotokan with some free thinkers. |

I remember back in the early eighties when I was doing some training with GM Peter Urban...he used to tell me stories about Aaron Banks...he used to say that Aaron was a student of his at one time. He began teaching him at the request of Mr. Bank's pyschologists. GM Urban basically said that Aaron Banks was certifiably.......
For some reason I get the impression that if Alice Cooper lead Keith Richard's lifestyle, we'd end up with ... Aaron Banks.   |

R.C. Jr. has built himself a solid association with approximately 1,000 students between all of the school under his lineage. He will be O.K. when all of the dust settles.
Not so sure about that....3 more schools left this week (Taylor, Redford, Canton). All he has left is Davison, Garden City and Ann Arbor, and word is that Ann Arbor is out of there too. His own school doesn't have a great number of students so your 1,000 is pretty far off. |

From "the horses mouth": greed, ego, power hungry, tired of being humiliated, etc, etc, etc. He's told them he's like God and they are his apostles and all the students are his flock. But the final straw was his trying to force them to sign franchise agreements so not only would he get all that money from them on everything they do, but they would basically be signing over their business rights on their own business.
