I'm not sure what the Korean equivalent is, but I thought some might be interested in these exercises.  From what I understand, these are the neh gong exercises shown in Hwang Kee's first volume:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/7TWnR9acHWo&rel=0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/7TWnR9acHWo&rel=0</a>
http://www.shen-nong.com/eng/lifestyles/tcmrole_health_maintenance_tendons.html

Has anyone done any research on these exercises?  These seem to be linked to the Moo Pal Dan Kuhm.  One reference I found said that Yi Jin Jing is connected to the 12 major meridians and the moo pal dan kumn is associated possibly with 8 extra meridian system...

You are correct the Yi Chin Ching (Yuk Kuen Kyung) are the exercises listed in GM Hwang Kee's volume one along with the Ship Ee Dahn Khum (Predecessor to the Moo Pal Dan Khum) and the Kak Byung Yun Yun Bup (Disease preventative exercises). My next book "Ki Gong' will have the sets from volume one translated as well as an in depth translation of the original standing (Moo Pal Dan Khum) and Sitting (Mun Pal Dan Khum), with many in depth explainations exercises etc. It will be due out this spring.

I have seen the Yi Chin Ching done with muscular tension and simply as Chi Gong exercises. There seems to be various schools of thought (as with most ancient exercises) on how to do them.

Wow!  I didn't realize the Ki Gong text was going to be so comprehensive.  I'm excited to see the translations Master Segarra.  This spring huh?  Be assured, I'll be amongst the first to order the book.  Will you also be explaining the external and internal benefits of each exercise?

The Yi Chin Ching, Kak Byung Yun Yun Bup, Ship Ee Dan Khum will be in the book translated. The Moo and Mun Pal Dan Khum will also be in the book translated with detailed instructions and extra exercises and experiments so you can actually experience Ki. There will be exercises for you to feel it yourself, have others feel your energy and exercises that you will actually be able to see your energy as well. I have learned over my many years teaching that to show someone an exercise is one thing but to have them experience what that exercise will develop is much more powerful and will make them practice.

The book will be a companion to the Meditation book http://www.lulu.com/content/770689 and of course stand on it's own. I wrote these books and the others that will follow in order of importance. Mediation and Ki Gong are parts of our art that for the most part are misunderstood or not even addressed. I want to make these valuable practices available to everyone and give them a simple step by step program they can follow.

Chuck Norris doesn't read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants.
